
Rikke is the founder of Behavioral Health Evaluation Strategies (BHES), established in 2018 to help organizations assess and enhance client outcomes, strengthen communities, and adopt data-driven practices.
Prior to founding BHES, Rikke built a distinguished career conducting evaluation projects for behavioral health organizations and state-wide consulting firms. Her work has focused on improving program effectiveness and outcomes, with a particular emphasis on advancing practices in California and beyond.
As a certified Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT) trainer, Rikke partners with agencies and providers to integrate Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM) into service delivery, promoting evidence-based practice that prioritize client-centered care.
Originally from Denmark, Rikke is fluent in both Danish and English, offering a distinctive international perspective that enriches her approach to fostering meaningful change.
Rikke earned a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Cultural Anthropology and American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC).

Catherine is a nonprofit strategy and evaluation consultant with nearly a decade of experience helping organizations strengthen their strategy, operations, fundraising, and evaluation capacity. She has partnered with more than 25 nonprofits, guiding leaders through moments of change—whether launching earned-income models, aligning teams around strategic plans, or building data collection systems that help organizations understand and communicate their value. Catherine combines a technical and empathy approach to her work, blending research, data, and storytelling to develop promising approaches to nonprofits' complex business challenges.
In addition to consulting with a wide variety of organizations, Catherine teaches as an Adjunct at Case Western Reserve University’s (CWRU) Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the school's Weatherhead School of Management.
Catherine holds a B.A. in Sociology and a Master's in Social Administration (MSW Equivalent) from CWRU.

Cecilie has supported several BHES projects since 2018. Cecilie holds a B.A. in world and folk music from Lund University. Cecilie is passionate about music as a healing practice and specializes in bringing communities and cultures together through music and art.
Cecilie has expertise in data visualization (i.e., dashboards and infographics), data entry, and project management support. Cecilie is bilingual in English and Danish and has knowledge of Swedish.

Elizabeth is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Psychology at the University of California, Davis. Her academic training has provided a strong foundation in public health, statistical analysis, data management, and research methods, which she applies to support evaluation and data quality efforts. Elizabeth is bilingual in English and Russian.

Lauren has two decades of experience working at the intersection of program evaluation, policy, and community outreach. Her north star: addressing disparities and inequities in public health through data-driven interventions that advance systemic change. Her work in program evaluation spans diverse health and human services fields, such as homelessness, child welfare, mental and behavioral health, restorative justice, human trafficking, and rural health.
She also brings firsthand policy experience as a former Senior Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Congress, where she managed a portfolio across health and human services, education, public housing, foreign affairs, and civil rights. This experience informs how she approaches evaluation with an eye toward policy relevance and broader systemic impact.
Lauren holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Brown University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California.

Throughout her career, Liz has helped various organizations meet and exceed their grant specific goals and objectives, identify areas for improvement, and adhere to best practice outcomes reporting.
For the past year Liz, in close collaboration with diverse stakeholders across the state, served on the CYBHI’s Equity Working Group to develop the Equity Toolkit as a guide for the various CA HHS departments involved in this initiative, and currently serves as an advisory board member for the CYBHI’s Evaluation Advisory Working Group (CEAG).
Liz brings 15 years of experience leading many research and evaluation projects that span the fields of mental health, criminal justice, addiction disorders, prevention, and developmental research funded by a variety of sources, including MHSA, MediCal, and SAMHSA.
Liz graduated with a Master of Science Degree, specializing in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University.

Natalie is an experienced project manager who began supporting BHES in 2023. She is passionate about serving her community and previously worked as a legislative associate shaping environmental legislation and regulations in California.
Natalie uses her experience in public policy to provide results-driven project management, strategic planning, and organizational success.
Natalie holds a M.S. in Conflict and Dispute Resolution and a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon.

Rebecca has worked on several project with BHES and is passionate about using research and evaluation to identify and enhance beneficial programming, address challenging gaps in service, and promote social wellbeing within the communities in which we live, work, and grow.
Rebecca has expertise in data analysis, data visualization, data storytelling, project management, evaluation planning, healthcare research, and strategic thinking.
Rebecca holds a M.A. in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, a B.S. (Cum Laude) in Psychology from Xavier University, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Evaluation Practice (D.Eval) from Claremont Graduate University.
Steve is the founder of eCenter Research, Inc. and the eInsight Data Platform which specializes in robust population health data platforms that improve the functional behavior of organizations and the clients they serve. Steve spend decades working in education, behavioral health, public health, and more. He has experienced the unique challenges that exist in this field from multiple disciplines.
Tristan is the Co-Founder, Vice President for Science and Education, and Assistant Professor of Wildlife Health and Epidemiology, Center for Wildlife Studies. He is a wildlife veterinarian and epidemiologist working primarily in marine mammal health and emerging pandemic threats. He provides field veterinary services and consults on wildlife health management for state and federal governments as well as conservation NGOs and some of the finest zoos and aquaria in the U.S. In his work with BHES, Tristan and his team of research assistants and scientists provide advanced data analysis support.
Michael Fauteux is the Executive Director and cofounder of the nonprofit GiveThx, a digital program that strengthens student and educator mental health and belonging through gratitude practice. In his 20+ years as an educator committed to increasing equity in education, he served as a master mathematics teacher, academic dean, and network director of innovation. He holds an Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in History from Brown University.
Cristin is a public health researcher and data scientist with over a decade of experience translating complex data into actionable insights that drive health and policy impact. Her work spans the government, private, and academic sectors. She connects science, data, and strategy to improve population health outcomes. Cristin has expertise in emerging infectious disease and chronic disease research, One Health, wastewater-based epidemiology, and disease modeling. Cristin provides advanced statistical data analysis expertise and support as a partner of BHES.
